- Yes. The AI runs on your own device, so a removal costs nothing to make: no limit, no credits, no watermark and no account.
- Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
- No. On this page your photo is read by your browser and processed on your device. The only download is the AI model itself, from Hugging Face.
- Which browsers does it work in?
- It needs WebGPU and a graphics chip with half-precision support, which recent Chrome, Edge and Safari have. If yours can't run it, the page says so.
- Why is the first image slow?
- The first removal downloads the AI model, about 220 MB. Your browser keeps it, so from then on each image takes a few seconds.
- What do I get?
- A PNG the same size as your photo, with a transparent background. Where the model is unsure, like strands of hair, the edge stays soft.
- Can I use the result commercially?
- Yes. The model's weights are MIT-licensed, and the picture is yours to use however you like.
